Already have an account? As I sit here and type this I have many emails teachers have never responded to. Simple questions, wouldn't take but a minute. I also have had to deal with situations that were supposedly handled only to be calling again the next day. On two occasions I've had to contact the principal to tell him what I heard of 2 teachers that involved my and other children.
I think teachers should know how to deal with everything when it comes to managing their class rooms. Not coasting by until a rare time a parent hears something from a child and then the parent has to report it. It's very frustrating teachers move "good" behaved children with children that have behavioral issues.
It's a common practice and I think it's a cop out and punishes the well behaved students. It's done in effort to keep the class even so good will rub off on poor behaved. I think teachers should find another way to effectively deal with the students that challenge them other than punishing the quieter kids.
I wish more parents would speak up and make change. These problems have been going on for years. Something is not right in our system that is suppose to educating our children. Parent Review 2y ago. Walker Valley High School. I can honestly say Walker Valley High School saved my life. I transferred in my freshman year after experiencing extreme bullying at Cleveland High, and I don't even have words for how wonderful it is.
Not only are the teachers wonderful, the students are all generally very nice. Teachers use out of the box ideas and take a genuine interest in their students, and the principal knows every single student by name. I've never seen any group of people be so caring in their lives, down to the lunch ladies. Any student is lucky to be able to attend.
I'm so thankful this is where I got to go. Student Review 9y ago. Parkview Elementary School. Parent Review 6y ago. Check out schools near Covenant Dr. What Locals Say about Cleveland. Dog Owners. Trulia User. Resident 1y ago.
