Lefty O'Doul's baseball career spanned five decades and included time in uniform as a pitcher, an outfielder, and manager. In his most memorable Major League season, O'Doul batted. To report or claim a lost item during, or after, an event or home game, please visit the Lost and Found section of the Giants website. Found items left after games or events will be held for two weeks. Any unclaimed items remaining after that time period will be donated to charity or discarded.
Items may only be picked up at Oracle Park during Giants business hours. Guests will also have the option to have items shipped back at their expense. Guests will be contacted only if the item is found. Every child should be told to contact the nearest Ballpark staff member should he or she become lost. Marjorie Wallace, also known as Ballpark Marge, the No. Marge was a longtime fixture at San Francisco Giants games. Marge became a big part of the Giants family, arriving hours before each game. She was given her own personal chair in front of the Giants clubhouse, where she sat and greeted the players with high-fives as they arrived to the ballpark. Marge is missed, but never forgotten. A plaque with her picture hangs outside the clubhouse door, above where she used to sit, in Marge's memory.
Located behind the right field foul pole, this area of the China Basin Channel is affectionately referred to as McCovey Cove in honor of Giants fan favorite, first baseman Willie McCovey.
It is approximately feet down the right field line from home plate to McCovey Cove. The cove is about 20 feet deep in the boat channel at the average low tide and 28 feet deep at the average high tide. Credentials: Credentials: Credentials will be issued only to legitimate media. Season credentials will be issued only to those news agencies that cover the Giants on a daily basis. Media that do not receive full-season Giants credentials may obtain single credentials. Media will need to apply on the website 48 hours in advance of each game requested.
Daily media credentials are subject to availability. All daily media credentials can be picked up at the Media Credential Distribution Center, located adjacent to the Dignity Health Center on the Portwalk. Credentials must be visibly worn at all times.
The entrance to the press box can be accessed via the media elevator or adjacent stairwell from the Blue Shield Field Club Level walkway. The press box is a working area for the news media and no cheering or other distracting noise is permitted at any time. Anyone violating this policy will be asked to leave the premises.
Persons without credentials will not be admitted. Booth 10 is the Visiting General Manager's box. The lounge is open for pre-game meal service beginning two hours prior to game time to accredited media members only. There is a nominal charge for meals. The room will be used for media conferences and other special interviews. Located behind center field, this waterfront entrance to the ballpark features a statue honoring San Francisco's first professional baseball team-the Seals. Designed by Alfredo Osorio, the statue is a likeness of the team's logo-a seal balancing a baseball on its nose. The plaza area is the only plaza at Oracle Park located inside the park's gates.
A ramp and elevator are available for accessible use to the Oracle Luxury Suites at this entrance. To report a security issue please find the nearest Giants Guest Services or Security employee. The Giants Wall of Fame serves as a living tribute to the organization's greatest players. It recognizes retired players whose records stand highest among their teammates on the basis of longevity and achievements.
