It was a bit more of a trip distance. I remember feeding the giraffes. The rest of the animals kept their distance. The Dallas Zoo has been avoided by direct order from friends and loved ones! I have not been to the Dallas Aquarium, but have many friends who have. They all say it is well worth the price of the ticket, it just isn't a "day" trip. It just doesn't occupy that much time. Which depending on other plans make work better.

I have not been to either Arbuckles or Sealife. If you do go to the Fort worth Zoo plan on walking a lot! We used to take a picnic lunch when the kids were little. We would walk about half of it, then rest for a bit, then walk the rest. They had an awesome walk through birds of prey exhibit. They would feed throught out the day. I could have stayed and watched them for a while, but my visit there would always get interupted by a lion rattling the sidewalk with a roar! They had a nice display of lions, tigers and bears!

And you can forget the primate house! By far it is my 1st pic! Joined: May Anton, TX, and Stonewall Count We just went to the Dallas world aquarium and it was awesome. Will definately go back some day. Joined: Apr Irving Tx. I wouldn't take my family to Dallas for safety reasons.

That includes the State Fair. Hobos, tramps, criminals, and beggars. Irving TX. Big Will. FtWorth zoo was cool and Dallas World Aquarium was very cool. I took the kids to Fossil Rim a year or 2 ago and we were the 2nd or 3rd car through. It was great. We fed everything out of our hands.

I think the trick with the drive through parks is to go early in the morning when the animals are more active and hungry. Id say hit em all. The 3 Ive mentioned all have different things to offer. Joined: Jun North Grand Prairie. Just went to the Dallas World Aquarium a couple months ago and I love that place!! In the warmer months its even warmer inside though!
