His curious mind kept up with local, national, and world events. A newspaper and a dictionary were always nearby. His background as an accountant served him well as he kept meticulous records of family and friends and what was happening in their lives; he never missed a birthday.

His home was a place where others were always welcome and his warmth and good nature will still be felt there. He left his mark on so many people, instilled his work ethic and values, and positively influenced family and friends who were blessed with the good fortune to know him.

Nor did I see any DOT co-worker ones. I got to know another Lou through all the various photos you, the family, selected ; Had Lou been ill? Was he able to live in his home until the end of his life? Our office at that time was like one big family. He was one of the nicest, most caring people I've ever known. My sympathy goes out to your entire family at this time of loss. He will be missed. We were so sorry to hear of Lou's death. He was always so willing to substitute for us at Adoration. We always enjoyed visiting with him. What a special fellow!
